8/14/1998: Taylor R., Upper Taylor; Lottis Creek to South Bank access

With: Chris Kelly, Nannette Laughrey, Jim Haines, Cindy Farsh
In the morning we were joined by Chris' college chum Jim Hainesand Jim's friend Cindy Farsh, and we all ran the Taylor again.

After we got off the river we drove over the 12,000' high Cottomwood Pass. This was the tenth and last time I crossed the Continental Divide on this trip. We got into Buena Vista and ate dinner at Jan's Restaurant, the boaters' traditional spot, and then drove to the Hecla Junction campground maintained by the Arkansas River Headwaters Association beside the river in the San Isabel National Forest.
