7/30/2013: Flathead R., M. Fk., Moccasin Creek to West Glacier

| Donna and Bill were hitting the road home this day, but they set us up with our shuttle before they left. On the way to the take-out to leave my van, I spotted Kim and Jenny in West Glacier, and they jumped in their car to hustle to the put-in so they could join us, and were nearly ready by the time Donna and I got back from shuttle. Bill and Donna hit the road and Eric, Dave, Kim, Jenny and I paddled the most beautiful stretch of river of the entire trip. Many Class III rapids, crystal clear water, and beautiful scenery. That night we all drove to the nearby town of Columbia Falls and ate at a great Mexican restaurant named Los Caporales, and Kim and Jenny moved to our campsite to take the space that Bill and Donna had vacated. |
