6/29/2014: French Broad R., Section 8: Redmon to Barnard

	With: Dennis Barnes, Ginny Newton, Martha James, John Clark, Constance Dowrick, Marcy Fleeharty, Paul Nitz, Terri Bsullak, Wanda Meck
	I led this trip on Day 2 of the Carolina Canoe Club's 40th annual Week of Rivers. There were only ten of us to put on just below the Marshall dam, at Sweetwater Branch (turn in at Blue Heron Outfitters, take the first LEFT onto Sweetwater Road, then the first right, onto Redmon Road; put in just after going under the railroad bridge). We shuttled most vehicles to the takeout at Barnard. The day was an uneventful float, mostly flat with little Class I 1/2 shoals and one long Class II shoaly bit.
