CCC Week of Rivers trip led by Susan Eda. It was a largely uneventful trip; there were 13 of us on the river and only one swim.
I'd like the full names of everyone whom I have not listed above.
Unfortunately, we didn't get on the river until after 3:00 PM, so it turned into a very long day.
From the rest break at the play holes 3/4 of the way through the trip, Anita (who was riding with me) and I and three others raced to the takeout to get a good start back to camp.
Anita and I had planned to go through Tellico Plains and eat at the Tellicafe, then drive back via the Cherohala Skyway, but it was so late we stopped for a quick meal at the Tellico Beach hot-dog stand -- MMMM, a classic junk-food treat I allow myself only once or twice a year! We drove up the Tellico to Baby Falls, then managed to get up onto the Skyway just before sunset, so we managed to see a few of the beautiful Skyway vistas before dark.
