8/21/2017, Nantahala R.: Ferebee Park to NOC

	16 of us had a weenie-roast luncheon as we watched the eclipse in the picnic area of the Scenic View Motel in Bryson City, where David and Beverly were staying. Post-eclipse traffic was hideous so we didn't run a shuttle before paddling the lower stretch of the Nantahala River, and it took half an hour to drive the five miles back to the Nantahala Outdoor Center from Ferebee after we retrieved our put-in vehicles. The River's End restaurant at NOC was closed by the time our boats were finally loaded at the take-out at 8:00 PM, and we were way past ready for dinner, so we ate at Slow Joe's Café.
