7/29/2018, Greys R.: Murphy Creek to Little Greys River

	We broke camp at the Gros Ventre campground and drove south to Alpine, Wyoming, then up along the Greys River Road. This stretch was much more challenging than I remembered, with one very long solid Class III rapid, and I am sorry I chose it, because this had been billed as a Class II/III trip. Two swam, and several others in the group were quite uncomfortable. There are numerous other boatable stretches of the Grey's which would have been much more appropriate. From Alpine we took US-26 west into Idaho, then ID-31, ID-33, and ID-32 to northbound US-20 and camped at the Riverside US Forest Service campground of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, between US-20 and the Henry's Fork River. Chris and Nanette stayed in West Yellowstone, Idaho, and Lee, Michele, and Liz spent the night with a friend of Lee's in Driggs, Idaho, so there were only eight of us in camp for a group dinner orchestrated by Donna, in which Evan showed off his chef chops.
