1/12/2019, Mulberry Fork Black Warrior River: Garden City to Whitewater Drive

With: David Bernard, Judy Ranelli

David and I caught up with my friend Judy Ranelli and a dozen other kayakers of the Birmingham Canoe Club. This was a lovely warm day, up into the mid-50s, and we made a long day of this short run, watching the kayakers surf their hearts out all the way down the river.

We ate in a Buffalo Wild Wings in Culman. This was my first time in a Buffalo Wild Wings, and it will be my last, except in a situation like this, when in the company of an avid sports fan on Game Day. But David is a southerner, who has the accent to prove it, so, whip smart as he is on other subjects, he thinks it is OK to eat in places like this.
